TL;DR
Currently food vendors can email, call, even fax, yes… FAX orders to PepsiCo for large orders of products. That is dated and not working, PepsiCo needed a solution. It is complex, complicated, and a short time line and lots of constraints, making for a high tension, high stress project.
My Role
I worked as the primary designer on this project, learning complicated product requirements, understanding engineering feasibility to create an ideal user experience, asking questions to identify the best user experience along the way.
About the Project
Foodservice customers place orders through various manual methods - such as emails, faxes, PDF, & photos - which severely limit our ability to automate processing, tracking, and fulfillment

The Solution
A web app for submitting and managing order which allowed for more automation, better order tracking and communication between plants & sales representatives.
